In other words this lifestyle taken to its extreme is for a very lucky few with a lot of time on their hands. This approach taken to its full extent is far out of the reach of mere mortals who have jobs, children, or any of the other hundreds of obligations that seem to seek us out and stick to us like lint.

Today I woke up and thought scones would be a good idea for breakfast. There are lots of peaches, nectarines and other fruit around right now and the scones would be a nice breakfast with some of this fruit.
The first dish of the year was First Rhubarb Crisp. I wanted to use it for breakfast so I put in plenty of good stuff.
This recipe is a keeper. They turned out moist and nutty flavoured and the spices complimented the banana flavour that is so strong.
