My yard this fall. If you've been following Busy Mom in the Kitchen for a while, you may have noticed there haven't been any new posts in the last few months. I am in LOVE.... With my WATER!!! We did it! The water softener from Whirlpool came in, we got it installed and my water is now FABULOUS!!! Homemade Rice Milk, a delicious alternative to the store bought Rice Milks with all the additives thrown in. Start with 8 cups of cold water. Making Homemade Chicken Broth is as easy as it gets. All it takes is water and left over bones and bits from a chicken! Typically, you would simmer your bones in a big pot of water for about 4-8 hours on your stove top. But I found the easier and more flavorful way to make Homemade Chicken Broth is by using the pressurecaner, or pressure cooker.
