Suzi's Corner is still a cherished location for late night eating. Steak is what hubby comes for, but on this occasion we arrived too late. My usuals were still as good as ever though, if not better: Cashmere Naan - thick slices filled with sultanas and cashews; and Vegetable Soup - brimming with fresh ingredients, not sure that the broth is 100% vegetarian but for a flexitarian it does just fine. Illy Cafe is basically a glass box allowing you green views of the garden, pool and bar area at Terrace behind Hock Choon. Made comfortable with long sleek benches, sofas and intimate tables for two, they've done surprisingly well with such a small space. The best bit though is that they serve Illy coffee. Who knew that this humble satay stall in Naan Corner has a legendary history? Zaini happens to be the grandson of the famous "king of satay" who began Majid Satay way back when Dang Wangi was known as Campbell Road. Going from my healthiest meal for 2012 at Living Food posted yesterday right on to the unhealthiest but equally tasty at Soo Kee today. Well known by locals as one of the best char siew places in KL the evening we visited we saw this dish on every table.
