Earlier this year, along with someone I "virtually met", I set up a Facebook page, Save Anne the Elephant from Circus Cruelty, when, like many, many others, I was appalled by the secret video taken of keepers abusing the last circus elephant in Britain. The horrific reports from Whistler B.C. of the culling of 100 sled dogs last year by Bob Fawcett is one of the most gruesome cases of animal cruelty that I have ever heard of. Joey Houssian the owner of the company and allegedly the man who gave the order for the cull in interviews stated that he takes full “moral responsibility” for what happened over two days last April.
