Last time I checked it's still May so I'm still reviewing Asian products. For now, I'll be featuring a product from a local brand which is the Fanny Serrano (FS) Eyelash Curler. Their counters are available in most department stores nationwide so most of you are probably familiar with this brand. Its SRP is 175php (around 5$). Let's compare this beauty with my elf eyelash curler. As you can see, the Fanny Serrano Eyelash Curler is slimmer than elf which makes it handy in case you want to include it i... read more »

Wow. My fourth post for the month...I'm on a roll here ^^. Next Asian product that I'll be reviewing for today is a makeup base from The Face Shop. I have always been curious about the difference between a makeup base and a face primer so I decided to purchase my very first makeup base to find out. This product is available in Green and Violet. Since I'm clueless on what to buy, I asked the SA and she recommended the Violet one for me. Like most products in The Face Shop, the labels at the back are mo... read more »
In line with my agenda of reviewing only Asian made products for this month of May, I will be sharing with you views about another product from IN2IT. I've had this for like, I dunno 3 months maybe (?) and I guess it's about time I give this product a time in the spotlight... TADAH!! It's the all new and improved IN2IT Liquid Eyeliner! For some reason this eyeliner reminds me of a gnome with a very tall, pointed black hat....or um, the Eiffel Tower, maybe? The product comes in a clear, plastic box ... read more »
Price Range : Mid-range Cuisine : Desserts Recommended For : The best Japanese cheese cake in town! Catphobia-Friendly? : Yes This little place in Bangsar Village has always been our trusted go-to bakery whenever a (rather specific) craving for Japanese cheese cake hits! The thing about Japanese cheese cake is that it is arrestingly divine and perfectly embodies all that is right in the cake world: soft and creamy, smooth and pillowy, dense yet airy... The fact that it is very light makes it a gre... read more »
For the whole month of May, I decided to feature mainly Asian products / brands in my blog. To start off, I'd be featuring the goodies I bought in two Japanese stores: Daiso Clipper. First up, the infamous Donut Bun...perfect for creating hair buns this Summer ^^ I got this from Daiso for less than a hundred (around 2$). I have the Large one but I probably should've gotten the Medium-sized bun. Oh well, I guess I just have to make it work. Next are these jeweled hairbands...I'd pair these with my Do... read more »
Hi everyone! As I've mentioned in my previous entry, since it's SUMMER, I've decided to stop using my foundations for a while to help my skin breathe. Besides using heavy foundations will only melt in the summer heat. Because of my disappointment in Maybelline's BB Stick (which I now only use as a concealer), I'm still in the hunt for my go-to make-up product for this summer. This led me to my discovery of this product: Pinkies Collection BB Cream Foundation. Now for those of you who are not familiar w... read more »
