content discovered on Monday, October 22, 2012

Tru-Blu is back!

content discovered on Wednesday, September 26, 2012

DJR’s new Tru-Blu livery for this year’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Ben Collins, the former Stig reckons that Australia’s ‘Great Race’ at Bathurst is probably the wildest racing event in the world. Well he’s spot on, especially if you take into account Dick Johnson’s first ever Bathurst race in 1980 behind the wheel of a new XD Falcon. Johnson was leading by the proverbial country mile when he was taken out by a dislodged rock from a spectator. After being interviewed on TV fans star... read more »

Locked Out, Crowded House, 1993

content discovered on Tuesday, August 14, 2012

Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head Cake Topper Going Down...

content discovered on Monday, August 13, 2012

Mr. and Mrs. Potato HeadI made thesecompletelycustomized cake toppers for a wedding in Australia. They are made out of polymer clay. I glazed some areas to make them look visibly shiny, such as Mr. Potato Heads bottle and Mrs. Potato Heads bouquet. Mr. Potato Head is holding a Jack Daniels bottle (complete with a label) and his vest has a Slayer and Harley Davidson logo. Mrs. Potato Head is holding a bouquet and is wearing a handmade veil. Please tell me what you think and feel free to share. Terra ... read more »

London Olympics 2012: Hotter Than The Torch

content discovered on Monday, July 30, 2012

Well, I'm a sucker for winners and cuties so forgive me for being biased towards TEAM USA =) I may be Filipino but I do carry a blue passport so I might as well show some American love =) HA! The stunning athletes just make the competition hotter than it already is. There should be a new category to consider in the Olympics, like THE HOTTEST MEDALIST =) Of course, I will be a guest judge and one of the requirements to be able to advance to the next level would have to be strutting around and flexing th... read more »

Silver Bay by Jojo Moyes, Reviewed

content discovered on Wednesday, July 25, 2012

Jojo Moyes has produced a superb piece of modern fiction in Silver Bay. Set mostly in Australia, with some action taking place in London, UK, the story deals with the effects of threatened development on the tranquil eponymous location of the title. But it is the relationships and interactions of the protagonists that drive this story of tragedy, romance, coming of age and redemption. Presented in 3 parts, with a short prologue and epilogue, Jojo uses first person narration by five of the major charact... read more »
