Everyone is saying that blogging is about making money. Yes, I would like to make some money with my blog, but my initial goal is to help my daughter with learning Chinese and experience some more fun by making videos to help others learn. At age 9, she likes to think she is an expert of everything. As a Chinese kid, I was told to take off shoes before entering the house, but I always learned that Americans don't do that. It is funny when I met my husband; I was shocked that he actually takes off his shoes when he gets home. He said that it's relaxing. Therefore, naturally, after we got married, it became a habit of our daily routine - taking shoes off before entering the house. My daughter is a natural shoe-off person. My daughter is an only child and by joining that program, she found her Big Sister and look up to her so much. Her eyes brights up each time she sees her Big Sister. This is a wonderful program. Please vote for them so that they can get their car to help more kids. read more »
School is out, my 9 year old got all "A's" honor roll. I'm so proud of her. Even though I kept on saying "B" is not so bad, but I know in my heart, I will not be too happy about it. Am I being one of the tiger moms? read more »
