The houses on the north side of the street appear relatively low income, but they're probably expensive. Rent in New York City is ridiculous, especially when you're across the street from a historical landmark, even when that landmark is death. (Read more...) I think Ive mentioned before that I tend to sleep all curled into one side, which means various muscles on both sides of my back and shoulders, abdomen, and hips are all kinds of stiff come morning. So Continue reading read more »

I saved up all of my money and bought a Keurig Mini. As a lazy, pressed-for time coffee drinker (who also happens to be the only coffee drinker in my household), it was the best purchase of my life. Well...one of my best, at least. You see, until now I had been making all of my coffee with a french press. I love my french press to death, and I still plan to use it for those special occasions because -- let's face it -- you just cannot beat old fashioned french press coffee. It made a huge mess, though, a... read more »
coffee and cake at Il Padrino A new coffee shop is brewing in Robinsons Galleria. I noticed Il Padrino Coffee when I attended a service in Victory Church a few Sundays ago here. I checked out the board menu situated right at the entrance of this rather "very open" coffee shop. The menu is limited but compact. Pastas, pizzas, some salads and sandwiches. The coffee shop has bicycles parked inside which possibly denotes the owners' active lifestyle or penchant for biking activities. I first heard about Epic Coffee Roastery (also called Epic Bike Cafe) from food blogger Lori Baltazar when she mentioned it on Twitter. She was even impressed with the coffee paraphernalia displayed at the counter where I was able to see firsthand when I set foot here just r... read more »
Price Range : Budget Cuisine : Coffee Recommended For : A taste of Muar's famous coffee Catphobia-Friendly? : Yes Came across this little nook on one of our random Sunday daytrips, this time to this rather bustling Johorean town. After a nostalgic lunch and mini tour around town, only one thing could complete our day. If you guessed coffee, you know us too well =) One of the best moments in life is, undeniably, stepping into a coffee house and having that waft of roasting coffee just hit you!... read more »
Tropical Cyclone 'Oswald" I feel like a survivor - in so many ways. I know that sounds like a tired old statement, but so what. It is my reality, so you can hear-(?) me say it because I love being alive right now! Maybe it's just the flavour of my "Moccona"-coffee "Dilmah"-tea cocktail in the bottom of my mug - you know when it gets to the bottom and the good bits rush in! So, when I feel like I do - like I do now - mostly, I forget to share it around on here in my blog, because I have to remember to b... read more »
Morning y'all, so one of my favorite things in the world is coffee! Boy oh boy it makes my days easier nothing is better than a warm cup of coffee in a chilly morning, or a cold frappe in a summer morning. Either way this girl loves her coffee!
