Having an interest in all things vintage and with memories of my childhood, where women always wore a pinny, I decided to make some vintage pinnies of my very own!
Sorting through my fabric stash I found the vintage look material, and the pinnies became a reality!

As you may, or may not know (you probably will if you follow me on Twitter) I was bridesmaid at my good friends wedding on Sunday, and beforehand she taught me a quick craft (and I made two for her wedding) and that is making string balloons.

*A quick note before you read today's post-when I sent this blog out I happened to see that Ityped outthe title and it read like this:"A old lamp.......ect. ect. ect." While I was getting ready to wrap a birthday presenttoday I was thinking about how I still wrap presents that look like a five year old did it.
I often wonder if the "gift of wrapping, gifts" will ever arrive for me.
I don't look for this to happen any time soon.
I also don't enjoy wrapping presents.
Maybe that's the problem.
It seems like such a waste of time when ultimately, in the end, it gets ripped, shredded, and ruined.

Yesterday, my daughter had to make a science project and it was about making a presentation out of the 5 Kingdoms. She and her partner decided on making a book out of it. My crafty brain again jump started and suggested a pop-up book of the 5 Kingdoms. We made it using mostly recycled materials. The only thing new were the bond papers. We also had no more time to go out and buy new materials because she had to study for her exams the following day.
