As my bitty baby girl, mini-muffin#3 turns 6 months old next week, I decided it was time I finally lost the baby weight. Im so glad I have her to blame this on, along with two other mini-muffins. So, in spite of the fact that I probably had baby weight to lose long before these babies were a twinkle in their daddys eye, Im going off the deep end and into the Weight Watchers pool. However, while watching weight (hopefully watching it disappear!), I havent lost sight of my loves: muffins. These babies... read more »
This morning I went to the clinic for a couple of tests and a follow up.I had to do a blood analysis. One for my HA1c (sugar level reading from the last 3 months)and a test for cholesterol.I had to fast for 12 hours for this medical check up.The wait, for my turn, at the hospital, was so exasperating. It was almost after 1 1/2 hours that I was called in.I finished the blood tests in a matter of minutes and thereafter went to see theENT specialist for a follow up on my blocked nostril.Fortunately it was a min... read more »
So you want to lose weight just like every single person in this world who owns a less-forgiving mirror. ITV today aired another show (The Food We Eat) telling the public the same old crap - that saturated fat makes you fat. In my opinion there are three types of exercisers: the hardcore (professional/aspiring athletes or generally extremely healthy people); those who exercise and keep themselves healthy, but enjoy the less healthy aspects of life as well (I consider myself in this category); and those who don't exercise.
