Here's a slightly quirky job I finished today ...The photo is originally from a commercial shoot for Lego ... the original image was a large format slide from the 90's ... the image was scanned, digitized, and certain marks on the image were corrected in Photoshop ... the resultant file was printed directly onto aluminum.A standoff was secured to the verso of the aluminum print, which was then float mounted over 'a sea of cascading black silk', set within a CMI float frame. It has been a lot said about Trend colours of this season - pastel green and mint. These colours are everywhere now - you can find dresses, skirts, shoes.. whatever, of these delicate, girlish colours. Personally I adore this trend and think that these tint of green are perfect for Spring, they are symbolizing the Mother Nature herself. Green also reminds me of fairies, elfs and magic forest.
