The point of our visit to Savannah, aside from seeing one of our favorite families, was to be there for Abby Rae's graduation party. It was, to say the least, the hippest little backyard party I've ever been to.Pretty sure Miss Michele was a party planner in another life?I may have taken my mason jar and some pretty paper for bunting home with me. And I may have fallen in love with hydrangeas. ^ photo booth and props (the writing is my doing, just sayin') ^ ^ Abby Rae, first day of school, K-12th g... read more »
A couple weeks ago, Matt's sister Stacey came over with her son Patrick. Frank, Matt's dad was also home so we decided to have a family day and cooked lobsters, steamers, salmon and hot dogs for the boys.Of course, Matt couldn't resist playing with the lobsters while we waited for the water to heat up to cook them. Letting them talk. Matt and Stacey holding the lobsters. Letting the lobster climb onto his shoulder. I love his smile! It's like a parrot, almost. Davis didn't want it on... read more »

Dear Dad,I could go on and on about how much you mean to me and how you've been the best support system (with mom) that I could have ever hoped for, and how you make me feel like the luckiest daughter...I could go on and on forever and ever. Because you are. And when you kind of came to my rescue this past semester, it just hit me like a brick to the head. You're like a personal super man, you know? All you want is for Rebecca and me to be happy and to love what we do and be the best we can be...and you'... read more »
As of right now. We are slowly replacing GMO food with USDA Organic, Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified foods. We wish to be 100% GMO free. We are in a research and learn mode. We first learned about genetically modified food in April this year (2013), hubs came across it while watching Alex Jones on InfoWars. And about fluoride I only wanted to move away from simple carbs to complex, abstain from white sugars, white flour and eat healthier overall. I was driven to rid myself of mig... read more »
As the rain has been pouring heavily the past weeks, it only means one thing -- summer is officially over. Now that I like to bid good bye to summer, let me share with you a set of photos taken during our family outing a couple of weeks back. I'm sure you've seen these pieces on this blog (on different outfit sets) but I chose to mix match it differently this time. Paired this Copper bralet with my Paradise Treats to make my swimwear look a little conservative (and outfit shot worthy. The sad part is, I... read more »
Certain is it that there is no kind of affection so purely angelic as of a father to a daughter. In love to our wives there is desire; to our sons, ambition; but to our daughters there is something which there are no words to express. Joseph Addison I know its a little late, but read more »

Spoke a little too soon the other day about not really feeling the effects of jet lag yet! Seeing as I feel asleep 15 minutes into a 7:00 movie yesterday, Id say Im still adjusting back to the time difference. On top of that Im still not 100% better from the elevation sickness/stomach bug I [...] read more »
