Today I was at the wonderful Vodafone London Fashion Weekend, the event following the official fashion week that allows mere mortals (like me) to buy tickets to see catwalk shows, and shop cheap designer items in the beautiful Somerset House. A post is on its way with catwalk photos and shopping, but for now, here's what I wore.
Dress from Missguided, shoes from a corner store in Sorrento in Italy, and bag an unidentified two-year old Christmas present.
Have a good week!

It's been a very long time since i've blogged! My spring was pretty hellish, but summer so far has been perfect, if a little difficult. Some noteworthy things that have happened since I last visited this space;I have freed myself from the grasps of school, exams, stress induced lunacy and other such delights that come with term time. I've also done all of my favourite things to celebrate; I've been with my friends, I've read, slept, cooked and sketched to my heart's content. I've had some crazy fun and t... read more »
So, I've been sitting here, jobless and broke, with nothing to do. I have no money, no gas in the car, no job, and I just don't know what to do. My bills are past due and it just seems like everything is falling apart all at once. I created another blog for Non-Pagan readers. It'shttp://keepyourrelationshipsteady.blogspot.comBecause not everyone is Pagan, some people would just like to see some advice and help from a person's point of view. Now then, I wrote for a bit on Tumblr about Wicca vs Paganism. It's time for Feature and Follow Friday! Don't forget to checkout the featured bloggers on Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.com.This week's question: What is your favorite tv series that you can watch over and over again on Netflix?
You know what I'm not much of a television re-watcher. The one series I do jump back to a bit from time to time is Lost. I was obsessed with that show when it was on. I watched it religiously and analyzed the heck out of it with my friends. I listened to podcasts. Read tons of... read more »
Its been a long and exciting week. Well a lot exciting and a little bit stressful because of work but my weekend has officially started!
When I got home I was starving! I went to the store to pick up a few things and I grabbed some avocados as well. I wasnt sure what I was going to do with them but I knew I would figure something out.
I wanted to go a different route with the avocado. I was getting bored with going the southwestern mexican route every time. Avocado is so much more than guac! I reali... read more »
So I have been working hard all week, and I also havent been getting a ton of sleep. So the two together are NOT good combos. When your body is tired and sore, you tend to just not give a crap and head to the greasy burgers and pizza. Trust me, I was tempted But I always keep in mind that eating those types of things while I am trying to work and keep my energy up wont help at all.
So yesterday when I was packing my lunch, I kept it healthy with salad and fruit.
My salad had fresh salad from my loca... read more »
Vegetables in brownies!? Am I crazy?! No.. Im not. These were so yummy. Better than the sweet potato brownie recipe. I found this recipe here. From the yummylife.com for Dark Chocolate Zucchini Brownies and was inspired. The ones I made are not dark chocolate and are not frosted and I turned it in to dairy free but they are SO delicious.
If you look on her ingredients list, this is what I substituted for what:
*Instead of yogurt, I just blended the zucchini with 1/4 cup melted Earth Balance and 1/4- ... read more »
Pretty much every italian place now days has an unlimited soup and salad option. Thats usually what I opt for. Pasta doesnt always sit well with me and most other dishes have cheese all over them
I got the Minestrone soup and the house salad with sundried tomato balsamic dressing. I forgot to ask for dressing on the side. They put WAY too much on. My mom has the artichoke and angel hair pasta dish with olives and capers. She really liked it.
I have to say I might still be favoring Olive Gardens Min... read more »
