Dress: Chiara Fashion(direct link) Blouse: Internacionale Leather Jacket: French Connection Collar Pins: A Little Birdie(direct link) Tights: Internacionale Boots: Internacionale When I first tried on this dress, I was a little disappointed, not in the dress itself which is really lovely quality and amazing value. I was disappointed because I love the dress so much and didn't want to just wear it for a night out, and then have to leave it in my wardrobe for the next few months before allowing mysel... read more »

Music Review//Woodkid - The Golden Age

content discovered on Tuesday, March 19, 2013

We recently heard this album from France's Woodkid and were open mouthed in enjoyment. In fact, the words poured from our heart as we listened to this very unique album. Read on and discover what could become your favorite album of 2013... When piano concerto's are playing I admit to feeling somewhat apprehensive. The piano has a power that few instruments possess and it's that power that informs the opening chords of Woodkid's latest album The Golden Age. Listening to the album is something akin to swi... read more »

Recipe: Tex-Mex Ratatouille

content discovered on Wednesday, February 20, 2013

What may sound like a well-thought-out exotic dish, combining well-loved Mexican and French flavours, is actually the result of a dwindling pantry and an urgent pang of hunger. The amazing thing about the ingredients used, however, is how well they actually complement each other! You've got the sweet-crunchiness of zucchini and bell peppers, slight meatiness of eggplants, rounded off with the wholesomeness of mixed beans in a hearty tomato base. Want to give it a try? Here's how: Ingredients 1 large... read more »

Let me take a break from posting about my recently concluded trip at Korea and share to your what I wore during our recognition night days before we flew for our incentive trip. A couple of Mondays ago, our division (Medichem) held its annual recognition night and I was tasked to be one of the emcees for the program. The attire was to be in fierce long gown that's why I had a hard time looking for a ready-to-wear, fierce gown when I was doing the last minute shopping a day before. Luckily I found one ... read more »

Cheat Sheet for the Gender of French Nouns

content discovered on Saturday, February 16, 2013

I created this six-page cheat sheet to learn French nouns when I was in school. Of course, it's best to learn noun gender in context, but I found that glancing at the chart every once in a while helped solidify things for me. I found this document while cleaning out some files and thought it may be useful to others, so I scanned it and tried to adapt it to current technology. If you find any typos or factual errors, please let me know and I will make the necessary corrections. For each type of noun end... read more »
