Let's not hide behind our fingers and admit it! All moms had an episode of depression at least for a couple of minutes right after giving birth or a few months into their motherhood. I've always been terrified I might not be careful enough for one second and my baby would end up dead. For the first part of my motherhood days, I've been through a hell as on top of the regular baby related troubles that take the soul out of you, I had to go completely crazy and add this concern too. It's a vicious circle as the more you want to be relaxed the more you manage to drive yourself nuts.
