We went to the Doggie Dash yesterday and it was great! They have raised $354,000 so far and their goal is $390,000. I've never seen so many dogs in my life! It was crazy. My dad, doggie and I are going to participate in the Doggie Dash this year. This annual event raises money for the Humane Society. In the spirit of the event, I am selling card/stationery packs and all proceeds from this listing go directly to the Humane Society.I've been trying to build up his stamina. It has been a harrowing past few days for all of us in Nashville..The city declared a State of Emergency, the Red Cross Shelters are full, Fema officials have arrived, some of us are still without power, and we must ration our water. While, at the same time, many, many residents drag the soggy remains of their possesions out of what was once their homes. On May 31, 2009 a two and one-half year-old Labrador Retriever/Manchester Terrier mix dog named Spencer was killed at the Rochester Hills, Michigan Humane Society.
