上週五我把所有TA課的學生個別課都排掉，然後跟著我這學期修的Romantic Seminar的教授跟同學一起開車大約快兩個小時的車程，來到麻薩諸塞州的一個小鎮Ashburnham的Historic Piano Center來參觀Frederick Collection的古董鋼琴收藏。這棟建築物的前身是一個圖書館，後來Ashburnham Town City Hall轉借給Frederic Collection做為展場使用，可以提供更好的音樂聲響跟座談會使用，目前現場展示的古董鋼琴共有24台。 館長從館藏最新的鋼琴一直介紹到舊的，這是第一個展覽室，共有五台鋼琴，照片中只有四台，分別是最左邊只照到琴鍵的1928年巴黎製Erard，左邊第二台1907年萊比錫製Blüthner，中間裡面那台是1877年也是萊比錫製Blüthner，右邊一第一台是大約1885年波士頓製Mason Hamlin，這展覽室裡照片照片唯一沒照到的是1866年紐約製的Steinway。Steinway那台已經有一點現代鋼琴開發琴搥系統的強度的跡象，琴鍵承受的壓力可以比較大一點，力度的幅度也稍微廣些，波士頓製的Mason Hamli... read more »
