I really, really in love with this collection! It is soo inspiring, so marvellous! I can see all the details, lace, pearls and embroidery. It was worth the enormous efforts to create such a masterpiece. Collection consists of only 10 full looks, but each of it absolutely stunning and breathless. Honestly, I was dying to see this collection from Sarah Burton, and finally she did it! But, better to say, THEY did it! The whole House! Her fresh take on the late Alexander McQueen’s medieval, macabre aesthetic has generated legions of fans. McQueen pieces have always been (and still are) all about the statement, and every item in a season’s collection has its own thea... read more »
With the annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance only days away, I thought it opportune to post “The Allure of the Automobile”, an exhibition that was held in 2010 at Atlanta’s High Museum. The exhibition covers cars from the 30s through to the 60s and includes prestigious marques such Bugatti, Duesenberg, Aston Martin, Porsche and others – some of which were owned by Hollywood’s biggest stars at the time such as Clark Gable and the ‘King of Cool’, Steve McQueen.
