Basing from the first 2 photos above, you would know why 'Haggard" is the title of this blog post. Well obviously, Paolo took my outfit shots an afternoon after work (last Monday, to be exact) where I did not bother to re-touch my make up. Another card that I saw on Pinterest caught my eye for my son, Eric and his girlfriend, Lauren. Oneof the cards is 3 dimensional and the other is not. I sent him the one on the left that is 3D. I used SU heart punch. I punched out 6 of them and embossed them with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dot EF and folded 3 of them in half and just put them on the top of the 3 on the bottom. I wasn't very happy with the way my first "Scratching The Surface" entry turned out, mainly because it just devolved into me whining about the crappy movie after a while. Come on, if you're going to be that negative, you've got to be funnier than that. I considered powering through the rest of the TWILIGHT films uninterrupted but thought better of it. Show. Don't tell. I imagine that old axiom was very much on the minds of Gary Ross, Billy Ray and Suzanne Collins when adapting the first book in Collins' HUNGER GAMES trilogy. Externalizing a character's inner thoughts and feelings adds a lot of dimension and is preferable to just having the character vocalize them through dialogue. Michael Porter five forces apply everywhere. Santa was early to the airport. As usual Santa walked to the Privilege counter avoiding the long queue and asked for his favorite aisle seat in the first row.
