Discovered on Friday, May 18, 2012

Warning From U.S. Marines... [note - all mistakes below are original to the text] This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start to finish and send it on to everyone. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities. Can a good Muslim be a good American? This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply: * Theologically - no. . . Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon G... read more »

Discovered on Sunday, March 25, 2012

by Raymond IbrahimA pastor was attacked with acid and blinded by Muslims screaming, "Allahu Akbar!" ["Allah is Greater!"]Half of Iraq's indigenous Christians are gone, due to the unleashed forces of jihad [holy war]. Many Christians fled to nearby Syria; yet, as the Assad regime comes under attack from al-Qaeda and others, the jihad now seeps into Syria, where Christians are experiencing a level of persecution unprecedented in the nation's modern history. Similarly, some 100,000 Christian Copts have fled... read more »

Don't Believe Those Who Say Islam is Religion o...

Discovered on Thursday, March 15, 2012

by Kenneth Grimm, Cedar LakeThe Quran is the unaltered words of Allah, and the Hadith is about the life and teachings of Mohammad. These Islamic references teach that lying, stealing and murder are acceptable tools to expand Islam. Doesn't sound like a religion to me.Islam is concerned only about spreading Islam. It is not concerned about the welfare of the Moslem. In the Hadith, unbelievers have three choices: accept Islam, war with Moslems or pay a tax and live a humiliating inferior status. Living as ... read more »

Prophet Muhammad Traveled to Jerusalem

Discovered on Thursday, March 15, 2012

The Myths of Prophet Muhammadby The Religion of Peace.ComMuslims often complain of the "misconceptions" about their religion in the West, yet very few seem to know all that much about the true history of Islam and its founder, Muhammad. As a result, the biggest misconceptions about Islam are often those originating from (and sincerely believed by) Muslims themselves. As a service to Muslims and infidels alike, we hope to refute the contemporary mythology of Muhammad (popular in the West) by referring to t... read more »

To be offended or not?

Discovered on Saturday, March 10, 2012

The Star came under a lot of heat for the picture of Erykah Badu sporting body art offensive to Muslims in Star2 - the entertainment section of the paper. Three senior editors were summoned to the Home Ministry and the story did not end there. Heads were destined to roll and they did. Star2 senior editor Lim Cheng Hoe and deputy editor for features Daryl Goh were suspended indefinitely. And to make sure the paper does not risk offending Islam again, associate editors Rozaid Rahman and Shah Dadameah were... read more »

Malaysian Hypocrisy

Discovered on Tuesday, March 06, 2012

Erykah Badu will not be the last international artist to be the object of controversy or have a concert cancelled at the eleventh hour. As long as hypocrisy prevails among certain sections of society and the government, this is bound to happen again. We are always neck to neck in competition with Singapore over many things, but one thing we can never wrest from them - is being the centre for performing arts and culture in Southeast Asia. The kind of restrictions imposed on artiste coming to perform here... read more »

What Happens When an Arab Defends Israel?

Discovered on Sunday, February 26, 2012

by Alex MargolinWe’ve all seen outrageous reports about Israel from Arab sources. Reading the Arab press, you might be forgiven for assuming that when Israel isn’t sending Mossad sharks into Arab waters, it’s busy plotting ways to sow disease in Arab society. But what happens when an Arab writer defends Israel, or suggests that the Arab world may have something to learn from the Jewish state? Well, Lee Habeeb, a writer of Lebanese origin, found out the hard way.First came the letters to the editor, then t... read more »

The Origin of the Shia Sunni Conflict

Discovered on Saturday, February 11, 2012

1) Have you ever thought why there's conflict between Shia and Sunni?2) Have you ever thought how can "brothers" hate each other so much?3) Have you ever thought about why they kill each other?4) While both sects are massacring each other, have you ever wondered how they can claim that Islam is the Religion of Peace???The origins of the Sunni-Shia conflict was always violent, and that appears to be giving way to another period of spreading conflict in the Middle East..That struggle is most violent and da... read more »

The Origins of the Shia-Sunni Conflict

Discovered on Monday, January 30, 2012

It's not known precisely how many of the world's 1.3 billion Muslims are Shia. The Shia are a minority, comprising between 10 percent and 15 percent of the Muslim population — certainly fewer than 200 million, all told. The Shia are concentrated in Iran, southern Iraq and southern Lebanon. But there are significant Shiite communities in Saudi Arabia and Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India as well.Although the origins of the Sunni-Shia split were violent, over the centuries Shia and Sunnis lived peacefu... read more »
