As long as I can remember, I've enjoyed Easter. The pretty new dress my mom would make me, the Easter basket filled with goodies, Easter egg hunts. What I most remember as a child is coloring all those eggs. Everyone had hats, suits, new dresses, a... read more »

Of all the holidays, Easter is probably the most important to me. I love Christmas, too, but the older I get the more work and preparation that day demands. Ok, sorry friends! I have been the worst blog poster ever!!! I haven't posted in 1.5 weeks. For you that don't know I was in LA for work for almost 7 days, then the time change happened right after I got back (which was not good for me), and then this past weekend was St. Patrick's Day.

I make up little songs to sing to Kirby and our fosters all the time. I swear singing calms them and it's fun making up these little diddies from songs or rhymes I already know. So in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day here's one of my favorites for the many homeless dogs everywhere. An Irish limmerick of sorts.
