Almost the end of summer but the fun never ends. Kids love to go play outdoor eager to explore the streets, trails and climbing trees. But because we're afraid our kids might be lost while playing we prefer to make them stay home and play video games. But this is not good for our kids, kids most likely ride a bike and smelled them like a sunshine. That is why Air Walker comes to this idea to have a BOUNCE CASTLE for you to enjoy looking at your kids playing in your own backyard.Getting your kids physicall... read more »
I know it's been a few days since I've posted anything. We've been busy enjoying the beautiful weather, spending hours outdoors every day this week. We have been playing soccer and basketball, walking, sitting on the porch reading, and trying to get Davis more comfortable on his bike. I will emphasize trying. The goal was to go for a family bike ride this weekend. Davis was very excited for this new adventure. (And so were Matt and I) Since Matt has today off, we attempted it this morning. We wal... read more »
Before we took our mom to a pilgrimage of the churches in Tagaytay last December, I had already purchased two vouchers for an overnight stay at The Residence Inn. I didnt realize though that booking through the travel agency would take forever (oh, ok. just about half a dozen email exchanges) so we ended up [...] read more »
I am not really into a gardening activity, but I could say this Botanic Garden, located in Singapore, is more than the average garden. From kids to adult, men, woman, girl, boy, and elderly, I could see all of them spending time here. Apart from picnic activity, I noticed that a lot of people do some other activity, like photography for example (like what I was doing there). I also saw some group of people were doing some orchestra and choirrehearsal, apparently, they would held an event that afternoon. ... read more »

Today is one of those busy weekends when everyone has something planned (except for me, hah!) Safa left home before 7:30am for day two of a debate tournament in another high school in the area. Last night it was after 10:30pm when she got home. Hopefully today she will be back during daylight hours. She likes to stay with her friends to watch the awards, regardless if she qualifies for quarter or semi-finals.And Hamza was at his school by 7:30 too. Zakir dropped him off for the State high school math tou... read more »

After the 2 or so inches of snow fell yesterday afternoon, the sun came out in all its glory. Sun, finally, after about five days of dull, rainy skies! And with everything blanketed in a thin layer of white it was gorgeous. So out came the kids again, with their jackets and gloves, to enjoy the snow before it was gone. And Bilal had to sample some of the snow! Hmm, tasteless, but oddly satisfying!Bilal was actually the one child to spend the least time outside; he ran into the house complaining that it... read more »
This young man spends more time in the back yard with our pup than anyone else. And sadly, that's not a lot. But where Bilal whines and says, "Will someone come outside and play with me?" Hamza will just go and hang out with Atlas. He doesn't care if anyone else is around. He generates a kind of nervous energy in the dog. They roughhouse together, roll around, get covered with leaves, and eventually Atlas will end up on the ground, totally pooped, begging for a tummy rub.Yesterday I took the camera out f... read more »
