Got myself a bunch of new lipsticks, but I only had time to try two of them on. NYX Round Lipstick: Paparazzi (second to the right on first photo) Most people think that NYX has a consistency that's too soft. Given that it melts easily, that doesn't really help when living in a tropical country. I like it though, prefer it to the heavy lipstick feel. Milani in Tangerine (Rightmost on first photo) This shade is more orange than the photo shows. It also has this grown up perfume smell. Nice cheap drugs... read more »

First off, let me say that I really enjoy novels that I cannot find in my local bo... read more »
If you’re a mom, then you know how stressful this time of the year can get. We’re the ones who prepare everything during Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve dinner. I've always been fond of turkey as a rule. I hear so many people whinge and complain that they aren't much for it because it's dry - to be honest i think they must be doing something wrong as i've always found turkey to be quite succulent. Substitutions such as using thigh meat instead of breast, and using generic cream cheese help alot to cut costs, as do using standard red onions instead of shallots.... read more »

Well ladies and gentlemen our new school year is just around the corner! We are all very excited over here about it. We take the year-round approach because it fits our family best. It allows for breaks to be planned around The Spouse’s schedule and doesn’t produce large gaps in our schooling. I’ve found these large gaps make returning to our regular schedule very difficult. Our longest break is a month; which is when we plan family vacations. Since we school year-round with our start date in the summer,... read more »
