As we make our way into August, the weather is showing us no mercy from the heat. The CDC recently reported that heat is the deadliest weather-related risk in the United States, over tornados and freezing temperatures. During the 1995 heat wave in Chicago, 750 people died of heat stroke. With high 90's being a mainstay, this can be a hard time for seniors.
