by M. J. Joachim Personal choice is only to blame When violence explodes with its terror Less action filled movies will never tame The arrogance of such behavior She sits in a corner alone in the dark Tears fall on her bruised shaking shoulder She can't even hear him or his remark Her world begins to grow colder "You're worthless, you bitch! I was inspired to make paper flowers and had the perfect excuse to finally put them together. First, when I was down in Coast Rica, I bought this beautiful wooden vase that I filled with decorated sticks (see post). It really needed some "livening" up, and I saw a really great tutorial here about the type of flowers I wanted to make. We also just purchased a console for our stereo and books. On one end there is a larger space that needed something with some height, so I made a different kind of flower. H... read more »
I am so EXCITED I can barely contain myself! A little bit ago, I found an affordable cover artist whom I commissioned to do the covers of three of my books - The Mahogany King's Daughter (an ebook prequel to The Disposable Noble Wife. I have one chapter finished so far, but have been too busy to write much more), Navigating Marital Abandonment and The Disposable Noble Wife. All the finished covers are amazing and, let me tell you, it is quite a high to see your name on a professionally designed cover ... read more »

The more problems I have the less claim any individual one has to my soul, right? It works like a charm until each of those problems comes to the separate conclusion that I am the toxic one and they all back away slowly. And then it occurs to me that I have nowhere to go, that I've drunk way too much alcohol, and that I haven't had a plan in weeks. (Read more...) Your ad could be here, right now. read more »

It’s Mommy’s Day to day, and Blogger Bark wouldn’t want to miss the chance to greet all pet mommies out there a “Happy Mommy’s Day”!But unlike other mommies who will probably get gifts and treats from their babies, a little guy called Toffee gives more than the regular TLC to his mommy. He gives her a “tip” on how to keep him healthy and excited over feeding time. Of course, just like other mommies, Toffee’s pet mom only gives him healthy and nutritious food but every time she does, she always get a hard... read more »
I love myself dearly, madly. I always have, I always will. There is nothing that anyone can do to change that. Self love and self-worth is an esteem that comes from within. No one is able to give it, and no one is able to take it away when the regard is truly genuine. I have never [...] read more »
Men often exude an air of confidence wherever they go. Unlike women who often go to extreme lengths to prepare themselves when going out, most men just take a quick shower, shave, splash aftershave, get dressed, and they’re ready to go. It seems they can pull off any look without exerting too much effort. There is a catch, though; ask a man to prepare for a black-tie formal and they would shift into panic gear.Yes, it seems that attending a black-tie event catches most men off guard. You can just imagine... read more »
On March 27th, the EU has launched a public consultation which will last until July 2nd. This consultation is defined by a document: the Green Paper "A 2030 framework for climate and energy policies". On this occasion, Watts and Co. tries to give you the key points of the EU energy policy since the 2030 framework will inherit the previous 2020 energy goals (the well-known 3x20 targets) and will prepare the 2050 roadmap. What are these three different goals defined by the EU and how can it reach its goals... read more »
