Weekend away with the van

This weekend I have just visited Blackshaw Moor near Stoke on Trent for the second time this year. True to form it managed to rain for quite a lot of the time there, mainly at night though but that doesn't dampen anyone's spirits when in a caravan. The dogs loved it as always, they know that they are able to sleep on the beds if they so desire without being shouted at and pushed off to the floor. 39th ACE Show

The Armco Car Enthusiasts club car show is now in its 39th year. This makes it one of the oldest, continuous running shows in the region. This year's crowd was relatively small despite good weather but brought out a bunch of great cars, including this Chevy Nova that has 14 national titles to its credit. Also on the field that day was a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge, a couple of very similar custom street rods, a ready to work Ford Bronco, a Ford Mustang, a 1969 Buick Riviera, and a C 2 Corvette. read more »
