Yay for days off! I have to work Thursday and Friday so today I am taking advantage of. I want to do one of my many DIY projects, but I need to pick which one! I am also meeting my mom for a yummy lunch today.

My weekend was pretty lax. Now I have to prepare myself for a hectic week! But first I thought I would share this mornings yummy breakfast.
I make these a lot but I dont think I have formally introduced them. I call it a dairy free fruit parfait because:
1 cup dairy free yogurt
4-5 sliced strawberries
A few pieces of cereal or granola
And any pretty topping you want! (trail mix, sprinkles, choco chips, peanut butter, etc.)

Its FRIDAY! YAY! Except the fact that weekends go by faster than sharing popcorn at the movies but they are still awesome. And so is popcorn.
YAY my mom got me a Starbucks souvenir. Some seriously awesome coffee and a little coffee measurer. I get so excited over the littlest of things. They are the most precious to me. Things that I can use and enjoy.

Well I thought this week was going to be lax, but I was wrong. New things keep getting added to the calendar but thats life. Thats why I like to enjoy the little things, especially when you dont always have time for the big things.
Things like frozen yogurt trips with your love or friends should be something exciting. Make it in to a big deal! If you think your life is boring, then turn the normal things you like to do in to fun things.
