La c... read more »
Although my "Spring Break" hasn't exactly been the equivalent to a Harmony Korine directed movie featuring my future husband bailing me out of jail, I've managed to find a few excuses to dress up and face the rest of society. We are now officially in Spring, but my taste will never abandon all shades of black. This is like an intro to Spring outfit. As always, I strategically wore tights and a light over shirt to compensate for the changing weather. The focal point of this outfit is based around my cutes... read more »
Its getting warmer outside, kind of, and I've decided to test out a little idea. I'm predicting that the High-waist trend will soon fade out (and die) so what alternatives do woman have now? I've always loved the idea of hip-hugging above the knee shorts, think boyfriend jeans cut mid thigh. So, I pulled the high shorts down and was pretty satisfied with my result. This look is good for the winter/spring transition. Also, I've been kind of obsessing over denim on denim layering.

With all the commotions going on currently, I've found it a bit distracting to concentrate on singular things whole-heartedly. But I'm back and wanted to show everyone my lush little poncho found at one of the best thrift stores in Vegas,Buffalo Exchange. Even though the calendar says we're in winter, I've been dressing for spring. Cutoffs and light coverage is my thing.
Also scored in my thrifting search were these darling little heel-less Litas from Jeffrey Campbell. They're seriously so striking an... read more »
With the stresses from the holidays nearing, I felt the need to just get away from everything and enjoy a few old vices. In my attempts to capture a more laid back moi, I chose to wear my shredded white number fromUNIFout onto the city streets; it's so carefree and the ends feather out to make it a fun dress simply to walk around in.
However, it isn't exactly light dress weather, so to accommodate, I styled the dress with what I normally would: tights and a button up. I've worn tights so often that it... read more »
So I've been wanting to do a look with velvet for quite some time now, but I couldn't find the right suitable pieces to lay over the fabric the way I wanted it to. I'm obsessed with these super comfortable velvet leggings fromVictoria's Secret. They are so comfortable and go with any lazy to dressy outfit I see fit for the day (recommended most with my favorite flannel.) Slouchy sweaters are perfect for this stage in Vegas weather and to have the frayed pieces at the end is that finishing touch that mak... read more »
Normally, I tend to stay away from most colors and rely on a rather dismal colorpalette of a wardrobe, but today I decided to stray away from all that and choose something with a little more pop. This is something I would classify as casual daytime wear, even festival/concert attire. Being one that loves to manipulate the line between modest and revealing, I threw on this lovely, short purple velvet shirt dress andaccommodated for the lack of coverage with this fuzzy white open cardigan and thigh high ti... read more »
It seems like things lately have become very rushed, hurried and unpolished. As if I'm in some sort of a weekly time warp where the days melt together between work.. so to try to break away from the constant obligations of life, I decided to dress myself up a bit more than usual and go out. Now is the time to be young and what better way to show off my crazy youth than with mixing three different animal patterns! I went with this leopard pencil skirt from Forever21 and threw on my black halter top from ... read more »
The proper chill of fall has finally started to come and make its way through this town.. and with that being said, I'm getting more and more opportunities to bundle into cutesy, weather current outfits! I love fall fashion most of all because of the wide range of capable versatility in every wardrobe. Depending on your preference, one can wear an outfit with multiple pieces all at once, or take away items for a more modest, simple look, all while staying perfectly cozy in the not too bitter cold. I want to start making these outfit of the day posts because fashion is another one of my passion. I would describe my style as casual chic and street-style, and I often get my fashion inspirations from people I see on the streets. This outfit is definitely a more feminine side of style.
